The Blue Flag awarded bay (named after a lone Fig Tree) in the centre of Protaras regularly ranks among the ten best beaches in Europe and is notorious for its tranquil shallow waters and fine, golden sands.

A rocky island 100 metres from the shoreline adds to the area’s charm and is ideal for snorkelling.
